Only two coverages of IZA have a 15-day waiting period. They are:
This means that these coverages can only be requested for accidents that occur after 15 days from the date of insurance enrollment.
There is no waiting period for the other coverages of the insurance: permanent disability due to an accident (IPA), accidental death, and funeral assistance. In these cases, coverage is valid starting the day after payment/enrollment.
IZA Insurance covers all types of accidents, whether domestic, work-related, or leisure. Some examples include fractures, burns, falls, cuts, bruises, collisions with objects, electrical shocks, etc.
So, if you get injured at work, during transportation, on a weekend adventure, while cooking at home, or practicing your favorite sport, you can count on IZA!
Currently, it is not possible to change the IZA limit amount. We offer fixed financial protection of up to R$30,000 to be used across all coverages in case of accidents, plus R$5,000 for funeral expenses.
Once the enrollment is complete and your protection is active, you can select up to 10 beneficiaries through our app. Just follow these steps:
Open the IZA App > Log in > Click on "Protections" > Select your protection > Click on "Insurance Ticket" > Then click on "Beneficiary Endorsement."
Currently, you can choose to make payments by credit card or boleto.
If you choose to pay by credit card, IZA will charge the first installment on the day of enrollment and will then charge monthly on the card. Your protection is activated immediately after purchase.
If you choose boleto, it will be available in the IZA app and will also be sent to your email every month. Your protection will be activated within 2 business days.
Yes! In the app, you can check everything about your protection: whether it is active, if payments are up to date, add beneficiaries, view updates, report an incident (claim), etc.
Just contact IZA through the app. You will need to send a video explaining how the accident happened and provide some documents that will be requested.
If the assistance for an accident occurs from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM, IZA can pay directly to the establishment that helped you. Outside of this period, you will make the payment, and we will reimburse you by sending the amount directly to your account.
The amount for temporary work absence compensation is paid based on the average income of the last 3 months of the protected person, verified through pay stubs and/or income tax declarations. If you cannot provide proof of income, we may request bank statements and/or proof of app services and receipts for services rendered. The amount paid per day and the duration of benefit payments vary according to the contracted plan.
If the expenses related to your accident exceed the coverage amount contracted and provided by IZA, you will be responsible for the excess amount.
Go to the homepage of the IZA app and click on the bottom menu on Protections > Select your protection > Payments > Change payment method. If you only want to change the registered card number, follow the same process. After clicking on "Payments," select the option "Change credit card."
You can cancel your insurance whenever you want, without paying any fees. The cancellation can be done in the IZA app by following these steps:
Log in with your CPF and password > Click on "Protections" > Select the protection you want to cancel > Click on "Cancel Protection" > Choose the reason for cancellation.
But be aware: you cannot cancel your insurance if you have an open claim. In that case, you will need to wait for its resolution before requesting the cancellation, okay?
Yes! The insurances become complementary, meaning you can claim coverage from both if necessary. Only in cases of medical and hospital expenses, such as consultations and exams, will the payment be made by only one of the insurers.
Not at the moment. IZA's coverages are only for cases involving all types of accidents.
In this case, they need to contact IZA and report the incident. For security purposes, we will request some documents. If the beneficiary is named in the insurance, we will release the amount proportional to the percentage stated in the insurance policy. If there are no designated beneficiaries, we will wait for a court order.
The amount to be released and divided among the beneficiaries will be the available balance of the coverage, meaning R$30,000 minus the amount used by the insured for other coverages during their lifetime.
If you suffer an accident, you can go to any emergency room or hospital, whether it's the closest one or one of your preference. IZA covers expenses at any medical institution. Cool, right?!
No. Payments, reimbursements, and indemnities are made according to the coverage balance of each insured individual, respecting the coverage limit.
